Jacqueline (Jackie) Kretzmon and "Tailer" started taking our Fun Agility Classes when Tailer was 5 years old. They were looking for fun activities to do together. Jackie had no intention of competing with Tailer! They started competing when Tailer was 8 years old (at the urging of another one of my students (Lancy Smith, who also competes with her dog, Moosie).
Although they do not enter often, to date they have earned Canine Performance Events Titles (CPE) in Level 1, 2 and 3 (CL1, CL2, CL3) and are working on their Catch. What is a Catch? A Catch is a CPE Agility Trial Champion. It is earned at the completion of Level 5 and consists of 10 qualifying legs of a Standard course, 10 qualifying legs in Handler games, 10 Q's in Strategy games and 10 Q's in Fun games.
And, they have not only been busy in Agility! They also have their Canine Good Citizen Title. Tailer has also earned her Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles!!
But Jackie hasn't stopped with Tailer!
Dolly is now 13. She has taken our Fun Agility Classes. Her arthritis put an end to agility she has been swimming for the past 2 years. She earned her Canine Good Citizen Title and also her Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles with us. Dolly was also in our Next Step class.
Harry will be 9 in August 2018. He has taken our Communicate & Play Class, the Next Step and our Fun Agility Classes. He also earned his Canine Good Citizen Title and his Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles with us.
Pup is 7 years old. She has gone through several Next Step sessions. (Going through multiple Next Step classes with different dogs is always a good idea! The class structure and curriculum also varies so the dogs learn something new each time.) Pup started Fun Agility and in about a year and a half, she started competing. She earned many titles: CL 1 H, S, and F in only a year of competing before deciding it wasn't her "thing". She is continuing in our Fun Agility Classes! She has her Canine Good Citizen Title, TKN and TKI Titles with us and is now also in our Rally classes.
