The Next Step Class-April 2, 2016
Did you take one session of Puppy Classes and stop? Maybe now you are just beginning to realize there is more to training! We have the class for you. The Next Step Class goes beyond that stage, now when your puppy can concentrate a little longer. Now, when your puppy is becoming a bit more of an independent thinker and isn't quite so eager to follow along with you.
Or, do you have an older but small breed dog that may be a little shy? Does he know some of the basic obedience commands but lacks some confidence? This is a great class for him or her.
Check out The Next Step Class and CALL NOW: 716 254-6762
Our class sizes are always limited.

Have you started with some basic commands but find that he’s having trouble following through? Are you embarrassed when people visit because your dog is jumping on them? Does your dog only come when nothing else is around?
COME!
We can help!
***Imagine your dog lying calmly on his mat while your family or company is eating.
***Picture giving a command only once, not 3…4…5 times. And, he’ll listen!
***Imagine your dog sitting quietly as people pet him.
***Can you see yourself walking in town and you actually enjoy having your dog with you?
***Imagine your dog being calm as friends pet him.
These can all be realities for you!
To add even more to this class, we add some agility obstacles (hoops, wobbles, jumps and more). This adds interest to the basic obedience commands, while at the same time builds confidence and gives a variety of things to work on.
The guaranteed small size of our classes assures that you and your dog will get the most attention possible. You will NEVER find 8 - 10 and more dogs in any of our classes, ever!

Puppy Class - October 14, 2015
Start now with your puppy so you will enjoy him as part of your family. Puppies have a lot of energy which can be overwhelming at times. We can help you (even at this young age) to teach him how to be calm when needed. Is your puppy ignoring you? Does he only 'sort of' listen to you, or not at all? We can help you.
Maybe you've got a good start at home but want your pup in a class situation so he learns to listen to you when there are other people and puppies around. You may have the perfect puppy "now". Some times as they get a little older and more independent that can change. Don't wait until there are problems before you begin working with him.
This is an evening class. Sign up before October 4th and SAVE (Early Bird Discount). More information about our S.T.A.R. Puppy Class <<<<<<
Sign up for BOTH the Puppy Class and The Next Step Class at the same time to save even more! Get in touch with us now for more details. Class sizes are always limited. Sign up early to reserve your place in the class.
Great Weekend Trial: Sept. 5-6, 2015
What happens after Puppy Class? July 30th
Have you taken a puppy class and now you're wondering . . . "What comes NEXT?" Your puppy class was just the beginning. There is so much more to do, so much more for you and your puppy to learn! We have the class for you.
The Next Step Class: July 30th (evening class)
This is the perfect followup for what you've started. Don't stop working with your young dog now. Maybe you have been teaching your young dog on your own and he only listens at home. A class is great for teaching him to listen to you when there are other people and dogs next to them. Your dog will learn to be calm when there are other exciting activities going on. This is a must if you want to take him places (to outdoor soccer games, picnics, homes or friends of relatives), or if you plan to have people visit at your home. Wouldn't it be nice to have a home where your friends and relatives want to visit because your dog behaves?

This is not listed on our website, but was created due to the request and demand from the people taking previous sessions of The Next Step Class. Sign up for BOTH The Next Step AND The Advanced Next Class at the same time and SAVE EVEN MORE.

Competition Obedience- Novice Beginner Level June 25th
Have you always wanted to have Focused Attention heeling from your dog? Once you've taught your dog to heel this way, you'll never want anything less from your dog. If he is focusing on you, he won't be looking at the judge, the spectators, or fluffs of hair on the floor! This kind of attention and focus carries over into all of the other exercises that you'll be doing with your dog.
Have you been to obedience classes where you work on 'attention' for the first couple weeks, then by the third or forth week you're "heeling" all the way around the room with little or no emphasis on that all important FOCUS from your dog? Not in these classes!
In the Novice Classes we also start the dogs on the more advanced exercises needed for Open and Utility. The jumping, retrieving and more, make it so much more interesting for both you and your dog! Why not be ready for higher levels before competing in the early levels? You'll feel more confident. Plus, you are well on your way for the Open (CDX) Class before stepping into the Novice ring.
NOT INTERESTED IN COMPETING? These classes are still a great option for you and your dog!! Over the years many students have continued through the levels of the Competition classes while never setting foot in the ring. They enjoy working with their dogs and progressing into more advanced exercises while in the company of other dogs and handlers doing the same. It’s FUN for the dog! It’s FUN for the dog owner! Keeping your dog’s mind stimulated and his body active will enhance his quality of life. Students have continued for years in the classes with multiple dogs as new puppies are added into the family.
To be sure that each team receives the attention we feel they deserve, the class size is kept small for YOUR benefit. Once the class is full, registrations will close. Let us know now if you want to join.
You can find out more about our Competition Classes HERE
The Next Step Class-June 10th
Have you taken a puppy class and now you're not sure what comes next? Maybe you didn't take your puppy to a class. Maybe you did some training with him at home and find that you need more help. Does your young dog listen to you at home, but not when you're out in public? Does he "not know" the basics if company comes over? Then this is the class for you!
Are you ready to enjoy your young dog? Do you want your dog to listen the FIRST TIME, so you won't need to repeat commands over and over to him? Then sign up for "The Next Step Class".
We always limit class sizes to give you and your dog the attention you both deserve.

Early Bird Discount if you sign up before June 3rd. Don't miss out!

House Dog Obedience with Aaron Timberlake May 9, 2015
NEW SESSION - STARTS NOVEMBER 7, 2015
House Dog Obedience: Series 1, 2 + 3
Manners are very important, especially for your House Dog! This class will cover all the basics, but will be focusing on some unorthodox tricks and methods that will have your dog consistently, reliably and happily working with you.
What will you and your dog learn? ~ Watch Me, Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Go To…, Walk Nice, Leave It and Manners. Plus a whole lot more!
Session One will start with Confidence Building, Impulse Control and Relationship Development. This will be a great foundation for the development of a thinking dog who loves to learn, work and cooperate with you. At the same time it will set your dog up for success with basic, traditional obedience.
Session Two then moves into the basics of obedience.
Session Three ups the ante, polishing your dog around new distractions and environments. We may take this Third Session outside or on the road to different locations.
Use the 'contact us' in the menu bar for more information. Aaron will return your email.
Congratulations!
We just finished another "The Next Step Class". I'm so pleased that family members joined in with the training at class and at home. It's important that everyone is working together and keeping things consistent. Your dog can become confused if his rules change from day to day or from person to person.
Your dog is happier when he knows what is expected!

Aaron has been around dogs his whole life. There was always a family dog while growing up. As a teen, walking, training and boarding neighbors’ dogs became a part time job. In 2006 he became addicted to dogs!
Reading, studying, attending seminars and trials, as well as taking several classes per week has become a large part of his life. Aaron has trained under and with the best in Western New York, as well as internationally acclaimed dog trainers.
In the past 8 years he has gained experience in every genre of training. Aaron believes in the importance of teaching, learning and communication with both humans and dogs. He believes that consistence, structure and relationship building is the key to bring out the best in your dog. By studying the dog in front of him, Aaron assesses and then develops a plan to best suit that dog and owner. Every dog is an individual. There is no categorical classification of breed or behavior.
Experienced with fostering; adoptions; raising puppies; grooming; transporting; pet sitting; walking and jogging; boarding; board and train; socialization; group classes and private lessons, Aaron is ready to help you with all your canine needs.
