Sunday Feb 16, 2014 First session 1:30- 3  @ $40 - This is now full. Let us know if you'd like to be notified of future dates for this Masters session 3:30-5 @ $40 - Only two openings remaining! Instructor: Lori Grove

THE FIRST will concentrate on getting more speed and accuracy in the weaves with some MILD proofing. For beg-open teams who do not have reliable weaves. $40

THE SECOND will be for more advanced, masters level teams who have solid weaves but would like proofing with distractions and may need to work on some more speed. This session will not be for the softer of tentative weaver as there will be higher end proofing. $40

Class sizes will be limited to 5 teams so sign up early to guarantee a spot

About Lori Grove

Lori started agility over 20 years ago with her Cocker Spaniel obedience dog Frazier. After getting her first Q at the first AKC trial at the Wine Country circuit, in the dark, She was hooked. She has competed in AKC, CKC and CPE so far. Today her partner is another cocker spaniel Indy CH MACH2 CATCHLandmarks Midsummer Night's Dream. She has also been lucky enough to run a few other breeds owned by friends and students as well as titling her second breed a Gordon Setter.

Treibball Demonstration at Maddie's Pet Expo

We were excited to be asked to present a Treibball Demonstration at Maddie's Pet Expo, held at the Hamburg Fair Grounds Event Center. This is a relatively new dog sport in the US. It was a fun way to promote and give exposure to this sport and let people know what Treibball is all about!

Let us know if you are interested. The Start Dates have not been set so check back as the days are added, but contact us now so you'll be sure to have your name on the list. Some people are already signed up. ALL class sizes are limited so that each dog and handler will receive the time and attention they deserve!

  • Puppy Class - AKC S.T.A.R.  Puppy Program:  START DATE is October 12th, Saturday 

  • Treibball
  • AKC Canine Good Citizen prep class (and testing). This also includes prepping for anyone wanting to go on to the Therapy Dog testing

Pack Walk

Such  a gorgeous day for our second Pack Walk. The sun was out, but it was pleasantly cool with a breeze

New Titles

"Coco" (on the left) completed her RA Title in three trials, placing 1st in two Trials

"Rosie" (on the right) completed her RAE Title. Ten trials/Ten legs!

Everyone joined in with the celebration at class.

Double Box Jumping Skills - Sept. 17, 2013

Tuesday evenings for 4 weeks

 

Limited to 6 teams - we are filling fast!

This workshop will cover many of the jumping skills encountered on courses today

Serpentine; threadles; wraps; 180 and 270 degree turns and yes, back side of jumps

Dogs should have basic jumping skills including short sequences
