Communicate & Play℠ Class-March 10

Are you and your dog ready to learn new games and tricks, in an entirely new way? Then this class is for you!

This beginner class of Communicate & Play℠ is limited to only 4 Teams.  As a Certified SATS Trainer, Bonita will be using the SATS Bridge and Target System to teach 'tricks' in this class. This is a fun way to learn the system, which can then be used in all areas of your dog's life:

• *For Competition Obedience
• *Herding
• *Agility
• *Conformation
• *EVERYWHERE 

This class breaks things down in a relaxing, fun and interactive way so that learning a completely new technique is not stressful to you or your dog.

S.T.A.R. Puppy Class-March 12

Start your puppy early. Don't wait until he is older and problems begin! Sign up NOW for BOTH the Puppy Class AND The Next Step Class to SAVE EVEN MORE!

In this class we will get you and your pup started off on the right step (the right paw) and prepare you both for the beginning of the happy life you'll want with your puppy.

This is an evening class. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Sign up before March 2nd and save. There is an even greater discount when you sign up for BOTH the Puppy Class AND The Next Step Class at the same time.  The Puppy Class will get you started, but it is only the beginning. Then what? Chad Mackin Dogmanship Workshop April 11-12, 2015

Over half of the Working Spots have already filled for this Workshop. Auditing Spots are quickly filling. If you have never attended one of Chad's Mackin's Workshops you won't want to miss this opportunity! Spaces are limited! Chad's workshops generally fill early. 

We have a fully matted, climate controlled Training Facility so the weather is not a problem.  A small block of motel rooms has been set aside at a discounted rate but you will need to reserve your room prior to March 10th to receive the lower pricing.

Recent Titles and Achievements

The weekends of November 8-9 and 15-16, 2014 were busy ones for some of our students. Well done!  

Congratulations Valerie Davis! Both Belle and Coco earned URO1 Titles.

Coco had scores of 99, 99 and 97. And, she earned one leg towards her URO2. She didn't stop there! She also earned her AKC Community Canine (The new Advanced CGC Title), as well as her Therapy Dog International Certificate

Belle had scores of 99, 98, and 97 to earn her URO1 Title

The following weekend Valerie Davis was winning in Conformation at the Syracuse Shows!

Congratulations Patricia Valvo and Sonny Joe! Sonny earned his URO1 Title. All three legs were Second Places, all scores of 99 out of a perfect score of 100. He also passed for his Therapy Dog International Certificate.

Congratulations Yvonne Michalak and Brewster!  Now officially URO3 Airecraft Brewster of Buffalo, BN, RA, CGC after finishing his Level 3 Rally Title at last weekend's UKC Trial with nice scores of 96, 95 and 94 - all 4th placements.

Congratulations Pat Forsberg and Zoey!  Zoey earned her RO1 Title and 2 legs towards her RO2

Congratulations Bill Marzahn and Panda! Panda received her Therapy Dog International certificate. It won't be long before this Corgi will be 'working'.

The Next Step-Starting December 6, 2014

 

This Class is  for older puppies that have gone through the Puppy Class or for young dogs that have already started on the basic commands and are ready to continue with their Manners and Life Skills to make YOUR life more enjoyable.

This is a Six Week Session beginning December 6, 2014 (Saturday morning). There will be a couple weeks off from classes during the Holidays. During those weeks will be the perfect time to implement the exercises you've already started in class!

This is a busy time of the year, but starting now will help you and your dog get started on exercises that can prepare you both to better navigate the hectic season successfully.

• If the majority of the class would like to cancel class on December 18^th, we can skip class this week due to the Holidays. BUT you and your puppy may want/need the extra practice and some calm time at class away from the [chaos?] of all the usual activities that can often accompany this time of the year! Your puppy needs calm time and needs to learn how to be calm. It is important that he learns this from you.

Can your dog Relax? Upcoming Workshops

"Get easy"  Conditioned Relaxation. First workshop scheduled for October 21, 2014 at 11AM  This is a 2 hour workshop to get you started, helping your dog learn to MANAGE his own Excitement, Emotions and Stressors.  An evening workshop is also being scheduled. This technique is part of the SynAlia Training System (SATS) taught by Certified SATS Trainer, Bonita Habitzruther
