Rally Classes

Rally is a sport in which the dog and handler complete a pre-designed course. Rally was designed with the traditional pet owner in mind, but it can still be very challenging for those who enjoy higher levels of competition.

In this class, you and your dog will learn how to proceed through the course of 10-20 designated stations as a team. Unlimited communication from handler to the dog is encouraged. Whether you compete or not, it promotes fun and enjoyment for dogs at all levels.

Beginners start learning on the leash with lots of verbal and physical encouragement, and progress to off-leash with verbal-only commands. See below for more description of the competition categories.

To be in this class, your dog needs some understanding of the basic obedience commands.
